Abstract :
Customer growth continues to increase every year at PT. PLN (Persero)
UP3 Depok, especially in the Protocol Feeder, can certainly trigger an
overload, so that it can cause the current to flow and the power generated to
increase which causes heat and damage to the insulation. Efforts were made
to overcome the occurrence of transformer overload events including load
distribution (load transfer) which was carried out by moving the load at the
AGN Substation to the PIS Substation which previously experienced a state
of under-load. The researcher conducted an analysis of the transformer
loading on each conductor before and after the load breaking activity was
carried out. The parameters used in the loading analysis are the percentage
of the main conductor loading, the percentage of loading between phases,
and the percentage of imbalance in each transformer. The hypothesis in this
study that load rupture and load equalization can reduce the overload on the
transformer. Prior to load rupture, the AGN transformer measured at Full
Load Time (WBP) had a loading percentage of 81.4%. Then, the load is
broken outside the Full Load Time (WBP) with reference to the measurement
results at the Full Load Time (WBP). The load measurement was again
carried out after the load rupture process was completed with the loadx
calculation results reaching 57.5%. The load breaking method that has been
done can reduce the load by 23.9%.
