Abstract :
Gili Trawangan Solar Power Plant is one of the power plant built in a location far from PLN electricity network that is located in northern sea Lombok where to visit it must cross the island for 50 minutes. Gili Trawangan Solar Power Plant is directly connected to the PLN network through a 20 kV submarine cable. Since Gili Trawangan Solar Power Plant operates in May 2012, it is still not known that optimum energy production and Performance Ratio (PR) is a performance parameter of a Solar Power Plant, therefore it is necessary to analyze the performance of Gili Trawangan Solar Power Plant. To know the optimum potential of Gili Trawangan Solar Power Plant, radiation measurement, temperature, Direct Current (DC) power and Alternating Current (AC) power are measured. Then the results of these measurements are calculated so that it can be known the value of Performance Ratio (PR) and efficiency of Gili Trawangan Solar Power Plant. From the measurement and calculation, the value of Performance Ratio (PR) in combiner box 6 until 10 is 70%; 81%; 77%; 75% and 70%. The efficiency value obtained is 94.73%. The temperature at Gili Trawangan Solar Power Plant is very high reach 48°C and the highest radiation is 1111 W/m2. In addition, an analysis of environmental factors that affect the performance of Gili Trawangan Solar Power Plant.
