Abstract :
The Tegal Transmission Service Unit and Substation found a hotspot , precisely
in the working area The 150 KV Comal Substation from the results of thermovision which
found a hotspot anomaly, namely PMS Bus 1 Bay Transformer 1 on April 02, 2022, it is
necessary to follow up in the form of monitoring using the thermovision method,
monitoring the load and corrective action and the author intends to analyze the power
losses incurred. caused by the hotspot by observing the load recorded on the meter every
10.00 and 19.00 hours as a temporary load reference to calculate the power loss caused
on April 24, 2022, follow-up repairs are carried out, namely by conducting material
inspections, testing contact resistance, cleaning materials , and The contact resistance
measurement before and after the repair was found, the results of the contact resistance
before 65.8 after the repair were reduced to 19.5 (Kep.DIR 0520 K/DIR/2014) regarding
the PMS contact resistance testing standard, it was according to the standard below 50 .
The results of the inspection of the material condition are good but it is necessary to clean
the results of the manual power loss calculation before the repair is 472.207 Watts after
the repair there is a decrease, namely 146.7 Watts calculated using recorded load
