Abstract :
Installation of CBO (Circuit Breaker Outgoing) in the feeder network aims to localize outages. In general, the working principle is that the CBO localizes the fault area that is below it so that the disturbance that occurs does not result in a trip at the feeder PMT. CBO is equipped with OCR and GFR as an inter-phase overcurrent fault protection and phase to ground overcurrent fault. OCR is a relay that is set to be able to overcome if the ruble feeder indicates a phase fault. While the GFR is a relay that is used to overcome if there is an indication of a single phase-ground fault. The disturbance that occurs can result in a trip to a feeder if it is not overcome by a protection system that has a high level of sensitivity, so to overcome this, a relay setting is carried out to overcome the disturbance where the closer the fault point to the relay is, the faster the relay working time to overcome the disturbance. the. In the calculation obtained for OCR and GFR with TMS and time on the incoming feeder 0.28 tms with a time of 0.98 seconds, GFR 0.23 tms with a time of 1.04 seconds, the outgoing side of the feeder for OCR 0.37 tms with a time of 0
.69 seconds, GFR 0.25 tms with a time of 0.69 seconds, and for CBO feeders where OCR 0.12 tms with a time of 0.20 seconds, GFR 0.10 tms with a time of 0.28 seconds. Based on the calculation of the relay settings made by the author, it is proven that the relay working time on the feeder CBO is faster than the relay on the outgoing and incoming feeder.
