Abstract :
At the Cawang Baru Substation there is interference from the Gadung feeder dulfur, then testing the insulation resistance, contact resistance and leakage current is useful to determine the value of insulation resistance, contact resistance and leakage current that meets the standard or not. If the value of insulation resistance, contact resistance and leakage current is below the standard, repairs are carried out. The purpose of this research is to find out the procedure for carrying out the insulation resistance test, contact resistance and leakage current dulfur, to find out whether the test results are in accordance with the standard or not and to find out how to improve the value of the results of insulation resistance, contact resistance and leakage current if it does not meet the standards. The results of the insulation resistance test depend on the cleanliness of the compartment, testing the insulation resistance value after flashover disturbances and not cleaning the insulation resistance value decreases compared to when a flashover disturbance occurs and compartment cleaning produces a better and more accurate insulation resistance value than before because the insulation resistance value depends on the cleanliness of the surface. insulator bushings, humidity in the surrounding area and the longevity of the equipment. Insulation resistance is influenced by the amount of leakage current, so that if the conductor is longer, the insulation resistance will be greater. The results of the leakage current test are compared with the leakage current tolerance guidelines, if it does not exceed the tolerance limit then handling is carried out so that the work system is not disturbed.
