Abstract :
The development of shop construction in the city of Makassar, precisely in Gowa, has increased very rapidly. This encourages the demand for electrical energy to increase. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to do good planning in building a new distribution network so that the construction, operation and maintenance of the electrical system goes well. A distribution system planning must be carried out systematically with an approach based on load forecasting to obtain an optimal service pattern. The method used in this study is to use quantitative methods. This research departs from data. There are several load calculations in planning, namely load calculations. customers, load characteristics, determination of NH-Fuse and Fuse link capacities, and selection of distribution substation locations. In this study, the demand for new connections at the Grand Toserba Gowa store is 197 kVA. From the results of the data obtained with a land area of 170 meters, with a total customer power of 54,400 kVA and with a transformer capacity of at least 68 kVA, the selection of conductors for the SKTM cable channel for the Cheng Ho feeder to the substation which was built using AAACS cable type 150 mm2 while for the voltage network The low level uses the SKUTR type and AAACS cable with a size of 70mm2 is used, the NH-Fuse capacity is selected NH-Fuse with a rating below the current-carrying ability of TR cable with twisted cable 3x70 (mm2) +N = 170 A selected NH-Fuse 160 Ampere. and the Fuse Link capacity is used type -T 12.5 Ampere
