Abstract :
The electric power distribution system is an electric power system that functions to distribute electrical energy to customers. In distributing electricity from the distribution system to customers, it cannot be separated from interference. PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Marunda has a SAIDI value of 7.07 hours / customer, although this value is still below the standard SPLN 68:2 in 1986 where the SAIDI SKTM is 15.46 hours / year / customer, but to support service to customers, PT PLN UP3 Marunda increases the number of GFD that can assist in the investigation of disturbances so that it is expected to reduce the SAIDI value. The addition of GFD is carried out in 2021 as many as 100 units and through calculations obtained the value of SAIDI in 2022 shows an improvement of 2.58 hours / customer the smaller the value of SAIDI will be proportional to the amount of energy embedded with a total comparison between 2021 and 2022 the amount of energy saved is 13,988,185 kwh and Rp. 54,047,667.1 based on fault analysis it is known that 2022 has more disturbances than 2021, but SAIDI 2022 is better than 2021, this shows that GFD has a very important role in the continuity of electricity services because it can facilitate the investigation of disturbances so that the length of outage becomes longer. short.
