Abstract :
This test aims to find out how the effect of increasing temperature and age on insulating oil if it gets hotter and gets older. The effect that occurs on the increase in temperature when the temperature in the transformer oil is higher it will affect the breakdown voltage that occurs is the breakdown voltage that occurs is lower due to several factors, one of which is the age of the transformer oil and the presence of a large amount of water content contained in the transformer oil. The average breakdown voltage data obtained at 3 months of transformer oil is 74.18 kV and it can be seen that this value exceeds the specified standard, which is > 40 kV. In the 7th month data, which is 22.41 kV, it can be seen that the value obtained does not meet the standard of breakdown voltage, which is > 40 kV and requires recommended action in the form of maintenance. In the 9th data, which is 55 kV, it can be seen that the breakdown voltage value meets the specified standard, which is > 40 kV. The purpose of writing this final project is to find out if an increase in temperature affects the feasibility of transformer oil. Performing a translucent test on the transformer oil in order to know the quality and temperature of the transformer oil. To find out whether the age of the transformer affects the content of the insulating oil. The age of the transformer greatly affects the reliability of the transformer oil because the older the transformer can cause the water contained to mix and the older the oil the more factors that affect reliability. Data collection methods that are carried out are in the form of Observation Methods, Data Collection, Data Collection and Data Analysis Methods.
