Abstract :
In this study, we will discuss the deviation where this deviation is a measurement of the error that occurs in the kWh meter where the result of this deviation is in the form of a percentage. One of the influences or causes of this deviation value is the value of shrinkage, so it must reduce the shrinkage by transferring the kwh meter from the incoming cubicle to the energy panel of the control room. energy where the transfer of this kwh meter uses different cable cross-sectional sizes and cable lengths, here will see and examine what is the effect of cross-sectional area and cable length on the shrinkage value and deviation value. So when you get the deviation data here, you will compare the results of the two kWh meters. The effect of the cross-sectional area of the cable is 6mm and with a distance of 25 meters where the resistance value is getting bigger, which is 7x10-2 ohms and 4mm with a distance of 1 meter where the resistance value is getting smaller, namely 4.2x10-3 ohms. The effect of moving the comparison kwh meter from the incoming cubicle to the energy panel will cause the distance between the main kwh meter and the comparison kwh meter to be smaller because the two kwh meters use a CT that is connected in series. The deviation value of kwh meter before displacement is 0.443% and after displacement is 0.024%. Then the deviation value of the kwh meter obtained after the transfer of the comparison kwh meter will be smaller. Which is where the data can be read and recorded on the stand on the kWh meter.
