Abstract :
In connection with the increasing number of buildings and residents in the Cikokol area, Tangerang, the level of electrical energy needed by industry and new customers is increasing. In this research, planning to add power to the customers of PT.Hengda Steel. From the simulation carried out the addition of power at PT. Hengda Steel of 17 MVA can be done, the Losses value obtained is 69.8 kW with a kVAR value of -77.3 with a percentage value on Bus Voltage from 103.4% to 102.4% with a voltage drop of 1.07%. From the research conducted Maximangando Substation cannot meet the additional power supply from the calculation results in Transformer I obtained 104.4858% and Transformer II obtained 98.9548%. Where the percentage value of the resulting load exceeds the standard capacity that has been set, therefore a supply transfer from the nearest substation is carried out, namely the Jatake II Substation, which after loading on Transformer I obtained 58.7019% and Transformer II obtained 72.0272%. it can be concluded that the percentage of transformer loading at the Jatake II Substation has met the standards that have been set for adding 17 MVA power to PT.
