Abstract :

Therefore, efforts are needed to reduce the effects of these disturbances. Disturbances that often occur in transmission networks such as hotspot anomalies at clamp connection points or conductor connections. If it occurs continuously continuously can damage the connection or equipment. The biggest impact that will occur is the connection will be broken or melted and there will be disturbance to the ground. To prevent the occurrence of hotspot anomaly disturbances, routine maintenance is carried out to determine the temperature at the connection points or clamps by means of thermovision. Thermovision is an instrument for visualizing and detecting the temperature of an object that is captured and displayed on a display with technology. The tool used to perform the thermovision test is a VisIR 640 branded device. On the 500 kV SUTET network on the Cilegon-Cibinong route towards GITET Cilegon there is a hotspot anomaly.
