Abstract :
Based on the request for a new connection of 17 MVA from the customer, PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Cikokol made a plan to connect a new electricity network to PT. Hengda Steel Indonesia. From the simulation results with the ETAP 16.0.0 application, the voltage that reaches PT Hengda Steel Indonesia is 21,296 V or +6.48% of the nominal voltage of the medium-voltage network, 114.3 kW losses, 60.32% cable load percentage from KHA- and the percentage of the power transformer load is 35.3% of its maximum capacity. Meanwhile, from the results of manual calculations, the voltage that reaches PT Hengda Steel Indonesia is 21,829 V or +9.14% of the nominal voltage of the medium-voltage network, losses of 103.318 kW, percentage of cable load 58.7%% of its KHA and percentage of transformer load power of 35.06% of its maximum capacity. From the results of the power flow simulation using the ETAP 16.0.0 application and manual calculations, it is found that the voltage value is still in accordance with SPLN T6.001:2013, the cable load is still in accordance with PUIL 2000 and the percentage of power transformer load on the GIS Jatake II is still in accordance with IEC 60354.
