Abstract :
the protection system aims to secure electrical equipment and humans in the vicinity of the disturbance area (short circuit). The protection equipment works to isolate the fault current that occurs as quickly as possible and to a minimum so that no greater damage occurs. One of the equipment included in the protection system is a power breaker (PMT). This study aims to test the insulation resistance, contact resistance and PMT synchronously. This research was carried out using the observation method and then taking data at the 150kV Substation Puncak Ardi Mulya, the data obtained was analyzed using a quantitative analysis method by calculating, compared to the previous test data in 2020 and 2018. From the analysis of the test results it can be seen that the power breaker in The Ardi Mulya Peak Substation is still feasible and working well. The average test value of insulation resistance for R (177G?) S (164 G?) T (157 G?). For the contact resistance test value, R (38.1 ) S (39.5 ) T (38.94 ) was obtained, while the PMT synchronously test value at the time of close was obtained R (72ms) S (73ms) T (71.5ms) then the results were simultaneous when open. get R (30ms) S (30ms) T (30ms). From the test results and through the analysis that has been done, it states that PMT Substation Idnuk 150 Kv Puncak Ardi Mulya is still in good condition.
