Abstract :
Automatic Meter Reading(AMR) at PT. PLN (Persero) is a remote electronic meter reading system that integrates electronic meters of all electronic meter readings installed at transaction points (distribution substations, feeders and customers) through communication media for the purposes of collecting and recording billing data, load profiles, alarms and data. security automatically. AMR was developed as part of the development of electronic meters (digital meters) that replace analog meters. The AMR system is a data retrieval system in the form of energy data, max demand, and load profiles that are periodically read from each meter and collected in the AMR master for billing purposes and to analyze customer profile data. From the discussion proves that it can be concluded from one case where from the amicon system it was read that the customer experienced a loss of voltage in phase T. Which was caused by the distribution cable from the JTR to the APP box peeling off and there was water entering the underground channel resulting in a short circuit. And the effort to fix it is by connecting or replacing the distribution cable, then the comparison of the electromechanical and electronic kWh meters, in terms of electronic readings, has more value because it can be done from the office without having to take direct measurements of spaciousness in terms of interference, it can be known directly based on the amicon software. , in terms of class differences, the level of measurement accuracy of the electronic kWh meter of the AMR system is also higher which can later reduce the loss of energy measurements on the customer's kWh meter
