Abstract :
Overcurrent is one of the most worrying problems for power users, as it causes safety and comfort difficulties. Without appropriate security and control mechanisms, the system cannot function properly in the face of internal and external disturbances. As a result, electricity to household appliances often goes out due to overload. problems in the use of electricity in the dormitory, including the problem of blackouts at all points due to overcrowding in some rooms, thus interfering with activities involving electricity consumption. This protection system can be used on generators that are not equipped with a monitor that is capable of digitally monitoring the value of the voltage,current, and power supplied by the generator itself. Apart from protecting electrical equipment in case of overcurrent and power loss, these protective devices are also designed to sound a warning in case of a high-power device. Processing the input frequency as an output in the form of an LCD display, controlling the relay as a circuit breaker, and issuing a buzzer if the required load is exceeded. This author's research aims to produce and determine the workability of one of the alternative tools in the protection system on household electronic devices. With the use of microcontroller control and two-way data communication with the blynk application (available on Android and IOS) it is hoped that it will facilitate the monitoring and security process when household electronic equipment is disturbed. The Protection Tool has reliability in reading the current and power measured at the load and can disconnect if there is an overcurrent.
