Abstract :
The Depok-Cawang subsystem is only supplied by the Interbus Transformer (IBT).
However, sometimes there is a disturbance in one or more of the IBTs, so that the other
IBTs will be overloaded. If the IBT is still operating beyond its operational limit for a
long period of time it will cause a total blackout. To prevent blackouts, a defense scheme
or defense scheme is applied. One type of Defense scheme is Over Load Shedding. OLS
(Over Load Shedding) is a protection from the transmission network which has the aim
of preventing widespread blackouts by releasing certain predetermined loads. This study
discusses the Over Load Shedding scheme on IBT in the Depok-Cawang subsystem. The
method used is a quantitative method where interviews and observations (data collection)
related to the discussed OLS scheme are carried out. This study aims to make the DepokCawang subsystem so that there is no overload due to the tripping of 2 IBTs and to
analyze the scheme of overloading the 3 Cawang IBT on the Depok-Cawang subsystem
there is an overload. In this study, the total result was 261.7 MW from 3 stages, stage 1
was 135.1 MW, stage 2 was 32.2 MW and stage 3 was 94.4 MW.
