Abstract :
Electrical energy is a very important form of life energy and human life, Almost all human activities cannot be separated from electrical energy as an energy source. And if there is an outage, many parties will feel losses, including parties from PLN itself, in the distribution of electrical energy there are problems faced, one of which is a problem in electrical disturbances. PT. PLN (Persero) as a company engaged in the provision of electrical energy where one of its goals is to meet the needs of electrical energy to consumers, in providing electricity supply needs, there are often problems in the field, one of which is the disruption of suppliers so that power outages due to problems with JTM Components that are not reliable. Interference can disrupt the system and interfere with the distribution of electrical energy. Medium voltage networks that use medium voltage cable lines are prone to interference in the form of natural disturbances. For example, the disconnection of channels / cables due to wind, storms, lightning, trees, kites, and others. This interruption intentionally caused a power outage for repair and maintenance of the supply line. In addition, the disorder is a disorder that can be caused by one's own disorder or internal in the form of damage to the tools both in the transformer, generator, at the substation, and also in the distribution system. To reduce the disturbances that occur, we will do it with the Ultrasonic Inspection method, this ultrasonic inspection method is a tool that can detect component damage through audio.
