Abstract :
Maintenance is the most important effort that can be done to keep electrical equipment working optimally and also to maintain equipment life time. One of the maintenance carried out at the Rawalo 150 kV Substation is by performing power breaker maintenance (PMT), where this PMT functions as a safety switch, breaker and closes the load current in both normal and abnormal conditions. PMT incoming bay gombong is a PMT whose drive system uses a hydraulic system and has been in use since 1993 where the current condition of the PMT is experiencing oil seepage. Therefore, the PMT was replaced with a spring drive system. To ensure the new PMT can work, commissioning is carried out by testing insulation resistance, contact resistance, PMT simultaneous, SF6 gas purity and grounding resistance using equipment such as insulation tester, Mjolner 600, breaker analyzer, SF6 Q-Analyzer and digital earth tester. From the test results, all test conditions are in accordance with PLN standards. From the results of this test, it can be concluded that PMT can be operated. The results of the insulation resistance test on the new PMT are better, namely the value is above 1kV/1M?. The results of the contact resistance test also obtained results below 50µ?. Likewise in the delta time synchronous test obtained <10 ms. In testing the purity of SF6 gas, the gas pressure was obtained above 5 bar. Ground resistance test <1?
