Abstract :
Technological developments in Indonesia are growing rapidly, but in the current era of technological development, the electricity metering system only provides large reports of kWh that has been used and does not provide convenience for customers to monitor electricity, for the accuracy of inaccurate measurement results by officers makes customer dissatisfaction with the alignment of usage. and electricity to be paid. PT.PLN (Persero) UP3 Cempaka Putih as one of the customer service units in the Cempaka Putih area which serves customers directly to the community provides solutions by providing AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) to reduce losses, where AMI is one of the developments in electrical technology that integrating Information Communication Technology (ICT). With AMI there are no more meter reading errors because there is no longer a need for meter reading officers who come to customers every month so that customer privacy and comfort are not disturbed, and after installation there is a difference in non-technical losses the AMI system experiences decreased shrinkage in 1.349 customers from 11.98% to 5.30% which means that there is a percentage difference of 6.68% in meter readings.
