Abstract :
Electricity is a primary human need, in today's era the need for electricity is
growing rapidly and almost all people use it, both in urban and rural areas. One of the
new renewable energies that can be used is sunlight which can be said to be
inexhaustible and non-polluting and also free. This energy is usually used in various
technologies and PLTS is one of them. This study discusses the optimal production
results that can be obtained by PLTS. The method used is a quantitative method where
interviews and observations (data collection) related to PLTS are discussed. This study
aims to determine the characteristics of the installed PV modules, determine the
production results produced by PV mini-grid and determine the optimal energy yield of
PV mini-grid. In this study, it was found that the results of optimal energy production
produced by PLTS experienced a decrease in the results of energy production produced
each month. This can be influenced by several factors such as the condition of the PV
panels and also the efficiency of the inverter. Based on the data obtained, the average
production yield is 8,872.25 kWh and the optimal energy production average is
8.824,47 kWh. If seen from the results obtained, the average decrease in energy is 47.77
kWh.
