Abstract :
Technological developments and large industries use electrical energy so that
electricity demand increases, for the distribution of electric power PT PLN (Persero)
establishes distribution substations in each region equipped with electricity dividing
units, namely cubicles. The distribution system cannot be separated from the
occurrence of disturbances that can interfere with the distribution of electricity to
customers. One important effort is to carry out maintenance of 20 kV cubicles as a
way to minimize blackouts that cause losses due to unchanneled energy (ENS). The
research method uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection steps at
the Pringsewu substation and performs calculations that are used as energy data that
is not distributed, losses experienced by PLN and the total energy that is not channeled
to the number of customers at each feeder at the Pringsewu substation. After all
procedures and maintenance processes have been carried out on the cubicle, it can
be seen the duration of outages for each disturbance that occurs, taking into account
the total duration of outages per feeder per month, it can be seen Energy Not Supplied
(ENS), PLN losses, and the total energy that is not channeled to the number of Avarage
Energy customers. Not Supplied (AENS) for each feeder before and after
maintenance. In the data, the duration of outages that turned out to be very short
occurred in guitar feeders, which affected PT PLN's losses and the total energy that
was not channeled based on the number of customers after maintenance four times
over a period of two months, or the most maintenance compared to other feeders. The
effect of maintenance on the duration of outages can be seen from the comparison
with the duration of outages which are very different, the duration of outages
decreases according to the purpose of the maintenance.
