Abstract :
The Kemambangan Substation is a 150 kV substation. Which has 3 units of Power Transformers, the transformer power at the Kembangan Substation is 60 MVA. Inside the substation consists of several medium voltage feeders which are used for distribution to consumers. Every substation, every medium voltage feeder, often experiences disturbances, including short circuits. Therefore, to avoid or minimize interference, a protection system that meets the requirements of sensitivity, reliability, selectivity and speed is needed. The usual protective equipment used in medium voltage is the overcurrent relay (OCR). This relay functions as a safety or instructs the PMT/CB to open, so that the SUTM/SKTM that is experiencing interference can be separated from the network. The results of the comparison of OCR coordination settings can be seen through the curve. The results of the coordination curve of the relay setting on the incoming side can be TMS = 0.957 seconds and on the outgoing side the TMS value is 0.621 seconds. The coordination between relays in the calculation is in accordance with the coordination standard with the CTI of 0.3 - 0.5 seconds
