Abstract :
On the boiler there is the desuperheater which serves to control the temperature of the steam that comes out from the superheater steam superheater that goes into the turbine, in the desuperheater there is control valve that serves to control steam, the Control valve is driven by the actuator and oil hdrolik as Activator open the lid valve, actuator materials found in a component that experienced a failure of the material in the form of a patahnya stem. To find out the root cause and failure mechanism of the stem, then carried out studies and research which include visual observation and analysis of several such testing testing testing metalografi of violence, in order to know microstructure, testing fraktografi and testing SEM-EDS Mapping
