ABSTRAK ANTI STREPTOLYSIN-O (ASTO) PADA PENDERITA GAGAL GINJAL Kurniawan Agustian1, Meri, M.Imun2, Annisa Nuhasanah, S.Tr. Kes3 Program Studi D-III Analis Kesehatan Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Bakti Tunas Husada Tasikmalaya Email: Kurniawanagustian8@gmail.com Abstrak Gagal Ginjal adalah suatu keadaan dimana terjadi penurunan fungsi pada organ ginjal. Gagal Ginjal dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok, yaitu Gagal Ginjal Akut (GGA) dan Gagal Ginjal Kronis (GGK). Penyebab dari GGA salah satunya adalah glumerulonefritis, sedangkan GGK penyebabnya bisa penyakit glumerulopati, hipertensi, diabetes dan penyakit autoimun. Salah satu penyebab glumerulonefritis terjadi karena akibat dari infeksi bakteri Streptococcus. Anti Streptolysin-O (ASTO) merupakan antibodi yang digunakan sebagai indikator terdapatnya infeksi Streptococcus. Tujuan dari studi literatur ini untuk mengetahui hasil ASTO pada penderita gagal ginjal. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisa dan disimpulkan sebagai hasil dari studi literatur. Dari studi literatur berdasarkan jurnal yang relevan dengan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa mayoritas hasil pemeriksaan anti streptolysin-O (ASTO) positif ditemukan pada gagal ginjal akut, sedangkan pada gagal ginjal kronis hasil pemeriksaan anti streptolysin-O (ASTO) negatif. Kata Kunci : Pemeriksaan anti streptolysin-o (ASTO), Gagal Ginjal Abtract Kidney failure is a condition cause of a decline in function in the kidney organs. Kidney Failure is divided into 2 groups, namely Acute Kidney Failure (ARF) and Chronic Kidney Failure (CHF). One of the causes of ARF is glumerulonephritis, while CRF can be caused by glumerulopathy, hypertension, diabetes and autoimmune diseases. One of the causes of glumerulonephritis is due to the result of Streptococcus bacterial infection. Anti Streptolysin-O (ASTO) is an antibody that is used as an indicator of the presence of Streptococcus infection. The purpose of this literature study is to find out the results of ASTO in patients with kidney failure. The data obtained are then analyzed and concluded as a result of a literature study. From the literature studies based on journals relevant to this research, it can be concluded that the majority of positive ASTO examination results are found in acute kidney failure, while in chronic kidney failure the ASTO examination results are negative.
