Abstract :
Information is kind of resourch wich is very important things owned by an organization whatever the type of organization. Because decisions always reffer to information then information quality resulted in organization will be affect to every decision takes both by organization and other organization subject. SMART COMPUTER is one of retail which is take places in selling and purchasing component and computer unit, coding system and make their report use manual system which affect in data representation or information presented to management become inefficient and very slow. To support makingsystem in this research, writer use waterfall method as a method to improve their software as an analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintanance.To analysis their software then design software as flow map, data flow diagram, data linguist, normalization, entity relationship diagram and table relation. As well as for application program use Borland Delphi program with client/server MySQL database because it easy to build database application. Using this selling and purchasing system with Borland Delphi 7.0 application program with client/server MySQL database can help SMART COMPUTER more fast and easy in selling and purchasing entry system, support to know total goods stock remain in warehouse and in process make the report which is timelines in order to make management easy to take decision.
