Abstract :
Kontrasepsi implan merupakan kontrasepsi hormonal berupa susuk karet mengandung hormon progesteron dan dapat digunakan dalam jangka waktu selama lima tahun. Kandungan hormon progesteron dalam kontrasepsi implan dapat menghentikan kerja Hepatic Lipase, yang mengakibatkan penurunan kadar High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) dalam tubuh. HDL merupakan jenis kolesterol baik yang berfungsi mengembalikan kolesterol dari pembuluh darah ke hati dan kemudian di buang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar HDL pada wanita pengguna kontrasepsi implan di Puskesmas Karangnunggal Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif sebanyak 30 responden diambil secara pusposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terhadap 30 responden wanita pengguna kontrasepsi implan didapatkan hasil kadar HDL normal sebanyak 12 orang (40%) dan kadar HDL rendah sebanyak 18 orang (60%). Kata Kunci : Kontrasepsi implan, High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) Abstract Implant contraception is a hormonal contraceptive in the form of a rubber implant containing the hormone progesterone and can be used for a period of five years. The progesterone hormone content in contraceptive implants can stop the work of Hepatic Lipase, which results in a decrease in High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) levels in the body. HDL is a type of good cholesterol that functions to return cholesterol from the blood vessels to the liver and then excreted. The aim of this study was to determine the description of HDL levels in women using contraceptive implants at the Karangnunggal Community Health Center, Tasikmalaya Regency. This type of research is descriptive, with 30 respondents taken using purposive sampling. Based on the results of research conducted on 30 female respondents who used contraceptive implants, 12 people (40%) had normal HDL levels and 18 people (60%) had low HDL levels.
