Abstract :
Ristiani Kullin 2020154119: "MA'TATTAN PUSUK" study of
the values contained in the Ritual of Ma'tattan Pusuk in Lembang
Puangbembe Mesakada subdistrict Simbuang District Tana Toraja.
In Toraja culture known as Aluk Tallu Lolona namely Lolo Tau (human),
Lolo Patuoan (animal) and Lolo Tananan (plants). These three Aluk
cannot be separated from each other, because they are interconnected. For
Aluk Todolo in Lembang Puangbembe Mesakada subdistrict Simbuang
Tana Toraja Although these three Aluk have each ritual but the most
prominent there is Aluk Tau. In grateful Aluk Tau, there is a ritual called
Ma'tattan Pusuk ritual. The ritual of Ma?tattan Pusuk is a ritual held by Aluk Todolo after childbirth. Where Ma'tattan Pusuk contains then about the size of children and the inauguration of children into a fellowship namely Aluk Todolo. The problem is how the values in the ritual of Ma'tttan Pusuk conducted in Lembang Puangbembe Mesakada subdistrict Simbuang District of Tana Toraja <» If included in the Christian perception of the ritual of Ma'tattan Pusuk This is similar to the circumcision in the Old Testament and the baptisni of the "New Covenant Where it all symbolized about the
inauguration of a person entered into a community. The purpose of research that is to be achieved is to describe the values contained in the ritual of Ma'tattan Pusuk. The research is reviewed\ from its data analysis is qualitative research. Data collection techniques are done by observation, and interviews. Based on the results of the research can be concluded that the ritual of Ma'tattan Pusuk in Lembang Puangbembe Mesakada subdistrict
Simbuang District of Tana Toraja in the implementation has values that
are values of religious value, social value and aesthetic value .
