Abstract :
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penyebab tidak dilaksanakannya pelayanan diakonia transformatif di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Bethesda Limbong Klasis Bittuang-Se'seng serta memberikan model diakonia transformatif sebagai solusi bagi Gereja Toraja Jemaat Bethesda Limbong. Peneliti memulai dengan gambaran tugas panggilan gereja dan diakonia transformatif dengan latar belakang dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui studi lapangan. Beberapa warga gereja di Jemaat Bethesda Limbong belum memahami arti dan peran diakonia transformatif. Dengan situasi yang terjadi gereja harus berperan aktif dalam menyikapi hal tersebut, tetapi kenyataanya peran yang dilakukan oleh gereja khususnya di Jemaat Bethesda Limbong Klasis Bittuang-Se'seng belum ada sama sekali oleh karena pemahaman yang sangat kurang mengenai diakonia transformatif oleh warga jemaat. Dengan demikian warga gereja cenderung mengabaikan keterampilannya. The purpose of this research is to fvnd out the causes of note implementing transformative diaconal Services in the Toraja Congregation Bethesda Limbong Bittuang-Se'seng Church and to provide a transformative diaconal model as a solution for the Toraja Congregation Bethesda Limbong. The researcher begins with an overview of transformative church vocations and diaconal with a background using qualitative methods through field research. Some church members in the Bethesda Limbong Congregation do not yet understand the meaning and role of transformative diaconal. With this situation, the church must play an active role in responding to this. However, in reality the role played by the church, especially in the Bethesda Limbong Klasis Bittuang-Se'seng Cngregation. Does not exist at all due to a lack of understanding of transformative diaconal by members ofthe congregation. Thus church members tend to ignore their skills.
