Abstract :
ABSTRAK Arliz Maichel Demmalio, 2120196755 Prodi Musik Gerejawi, Judul Skripsi "Penerapan Metode Suzuki pada Anak Usia 3-4 Tahun Untuk Mengenal Nada Pada Alat Musik Pianika Di Jemaat So'so' Cabang Kebaktian Salukuse". Pembimbing I Hasrat Dewi Rante Allo, M.MG. dan pembimbing II Habel Kombong Kila', M.Sn. Penulisan ini di latar belakangi oleh penulis yang ingin menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang baru untuk anak usia dini, yaitu metode Suzuki. Peneliti ingin melihat apakah dengan metode ini anak-anak dapat mengenal nada. Ada beberapa metode pembelajaran musik yang dapat di gunakan seperti metode Dalcroze, metode Cari Orff, dan Metode Kodaly, Namun peneliti memilih metode Suzuki karena metode ini dianggap bisa membantu anak-anak untuk mengenal nada dan keterlibatan orang tua juga sangat penting dalam porses pembelajaran musik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan dua siklus, dimana dalam setiap siklus ada empat tahapan yaitu; perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa pembelajaran musik dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Suzuki di mana dalam proses pembelajaran peran orang tua sangat membantu anak untuk belajar dengan baik di rumah dan membantu anak juga dalam hal karakter menjadi baik. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah pada siklus pertama dengan menggunakan metode dan materi yang telah disusun oleh guru, anak-anak belum maksimal dalam pencapaian indikator-indikator yang telah dibuat oleh peneliti. Sehingga, peneliti menggunakan siklus kedua dengan metode dan materi yang telah dibuat peneliti dan anak-anak mampu mencapai nilai sangat baik pada indikator- indikator yang telah disusun peneliti. Pembelajaran alat musik Pianika pada anak usia 3-4 tahun dengan mnggunakan metode Suzuki cukup efektif dilihat dari kedua siklus tersebut mengalami peningkatan. The background of this writing is the writer who wants to apply a new learning method for early childhood, namely the Suzuki method. The researcher wants to see whether with this method children can recognize tones. There are several methods of learning music that can be used, such as the Dalcroze method, the Cari Orff method, and the Kodaly method. However, the researcher chose the Suzuki method because this method is considered to be able to help children recognize tones and parental involvement is also very important in the process of learning music. In Toraja itself, this method has not been implemented yet, so the writer wants to bring something new to the music environment, especially in Toraja. Shinichi Suzuki's philosophy is used by the author in the process of learning music which is applied to children in the So?so congregation? branch of the Salukuse Service. The method used in this research is classroom action research using two cycles, where in each cycle there are four stages namely; planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the study explain that music learning can be done using the Suzuki method where in the learning process the role of parents really helps children to study well at home and also helps children in terms of character to be good. The conclusion in this study is that in the first cycle using the above methods and materials the children have not been maximal in achieving the indicators that have been made by researchers. So, the researcher used the second cycle with the methods and materials that had been made by the researcher and the children were able to achieve very good scores on the indicators that had been prepared by the researcher. Learning Pianika musical instruments for children aged 3-4 years using the Suzuki method is quite effective in terms of the two cycles which have increased.
