Abstract :
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan pola asuh nenek dalam membentuk karakter cucu broken home. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola asuh nenek dalam membentuk karakter cucu broken home. Penelitian ini penulis menggunakan teori dasar oleh Jhon Santrock. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Berdasarkan pengumpulan data analisis pola asuh nenek dalam membentuk karakter cucu broken home, nenek kebanyakan menggunakan pola asuh demokratis dimana nenek memberikan kebebebasan, perhatian, terhadap cucu namun tidak mutlak, sangat memperhatikan kebutuhan anak dan mencukupinya dengan pertimbangan faktor kepentingan dan kebutuhan yang realistis. Dengan demikian penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pola asuh nenek dalam membentuk karakter cucu broken home adalah baik. Kata Kuci : Pola Asuh Nenek, Membentuk karakter cucu broken home. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the problem of grand mother's parenting patterns in shaping the character of grandchildren from broken homes. This research aims to analyze grandmother's parenting patterns in shaping the character of grandchildren from broken homes. This research the author uses basic theory by Jhon Santrock. This study used qualitative research methods. Based on data collection analysis of grand mothers' parenting patterns in shaping the character of grandchildren from broken homes, grandmothers mostly used a democratic parenting style give freedom of attention to grandchildren but not abosolute pays great attention to children's needs and fulfills them by considering realistic factors of interests and needs. . Thus, this research can be concluded that grandmothers' parenting patterns in shaping the character of their grandchildren from broken homes are good.
