ABSTRAK Monica Dei 2020196691, 2024. Analisis Teologis Konsep Self Love untuk Mengatasi Body Shamming pada Generasi Z di GTM Jemaat Bukit Sion Batu Peluru. Skrripi Program Studi Teologi Kristen Fakultas Teologi dan Sosiologi Agama, Institut Agama Kristen Negeri (IAKN) Toraja. Pembimbing I. Dr. I Made Suardana M.Th. Pembimbing II Dr. Frans Paillin Rumbi M.Th. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguraikan konsep self love dalam mengatasi body shamming pada generasi Z di Gereja Toaja Mamasa jemaat Bukit Sion Batu Peluru. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ialah metode kualitatif model deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ialah setiap orang harus mencintai dirinya sendiri dalam kehidupan ini, setiap orang harus mencintai dirinya sendiri dan sesamanya. Mencintai diri sendiri adalah bagian teologi yang sangat penting dari kehidupan manusia. Cinta kepada diri sendiri adalah pemberian kepada diri sendiri dalam pengajaran Kristus; ini meningkatkan pertumbuhan fisik, mental, dan spiritual. Kesimpulan generasi z di GTM Bukit Sion Batu Peluru mereka memahami dengan baik tentang buruknya dampak perilaku body shaming akan tetapi mereka masih terus melakukannya dengan alasan hal tersebut menjadi sesuatu yang menarik jika dilakukan. Para korban body shaming juga memahami maksud dari self love namun mereka belum menerapkan konsep tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari terkhusus pada saat mereka mengalami tindakan body shaming. The aim of this research is to outline the concept of self-love in addressing body shaming among Generation Z in the Toraja Mamasa Church congregation Bukit Sion Batu Peluru.The research method used is a qualitative descriptive model. The results of the study indicate that everyone must love themselves in this life, and everyone must love themselves and others. Self-love is a significant theological aspect of human life. Loving one self is a gift to oneself as taught by Christ; it enhances physical, mental, and spiritual growth. In conclusion, Generation Z at GTM Bukit Sion Batu Peluru understands the negative impact of body shaming behavior; however, they continue to engage in it because they find it interesting. The victims of body shaming also understand the concept of self-love, but they have not yet applied it in their daily lives, especially when they experience body shaming.
