Abstract :
MERRY ADENG: 15007047, thesis title: HIGH ORDER THINKING SKILLS, subtides: Implementasi High Order Thinking Skills dalam Pengembangan Disiplin Rohani di Kalangan Remaja GPdl Galed Batupapan. Supervisor. Dr. Ismail Banne Ringgi?, M.Th tf/?c/Dr. I Made Suardana, M.Th. Teenagers moment is a moment of searching for identity, a time of selecting a! t i ludes who can he maintained or removed. This is caused by cognifive development that occurs in adolescence. Parents, schoots and churches have the same opportunities to cognitively adolescents with good things, in this case having spiritual discipUne. Carers of caring teenagers who are called to capture the opportunity to fiH the cognifive minds of teenagers with spiritual discipUne, seek learning innovations. The innovation is the implementation of High Order Thinking Skills, namely to lead teenagers to experience (he learning, and even become a s ource of learning. Adolescent coaches i n GPdl Galed Batupapan seek interesting learning, bu t have not maximized the implementation of High Order Thinking Skills to develop adolescent spiritual discipUne in GPdl Galed Batupapan so the authors need to do research on how to implement High Order Thinking Skills in developing spiritual discipUne among teenagers of GPdl Galed Batupapan. Thus the research method that is suitable for use is a qualitative method. After collecting Ubrary data, observations and interviews, the authors found that implementing High Order Thinking Skills in learning was an interesting thing for adolescents and youth coaches and made teenagers enthusiastic to enjoy learning. Through this research, the authors found that the implementation o f High Order Thinking Skills has a major influence in the development o f the spiritual discipUne of GPdl Galed Batupapan teenagers, so that youth coaches in GPdl Galed Batupapan and other churches need to maximize the implementation of High Order Thinking Skills to apply any learning effectively and efficiently.
