Abstract :
Bicycles are a type of product that experiences development every year, the function of bicycles is not only as a means of transportation, they can also be used for sports, recreational and socialization activities Designers take part in every development, design innovation, technology and material exploration. Fixie bike frames from processed solid denim waste are a material development. Solid denim is a mixture of denim fabric with resin and becomes a composite textile material, denim material is obtained from waste banks and garment residues. With the Double Diamond Design design method with the application of 3R (Reduce, Reuse & Recycle). Which consists of 4 stages of Discover, Define, Develop, Deliver that are implemented. The discover process carried out in several waste banks in the City and Regency of Bandung, only one of them accepts fashion type waste because some waste banks are still constrained by tools and ideas for utilization. This concludes that the importance of the role of designers in fashion waste treatment and is a concern for public awareness in the use of fashion waste.
