Abstract :
Line is the basis of the visual medium. A line can be defined as a continuous series of adjoining points. Lines have various lengths, widths, and directions. Each line can show character, nature, or become its own symbol. In making the work, we use methods that can help in the process of completing the work. The methods used are aesthetic approach, and practice-based research creation method. The application of the creation method is used to strengthen the concept from observation to the realization of the work. The resulting 6 works were realized in the form of casual clothing. All works have different batik motif designs, but still harmonize with each other. The colors used were bright colors and black. The creation of this Final Project work is an experience and insight related to batik as well as a medium to provide understanding and introduce the uniqueness of batik motifs that have been developed from the standard.
