Abstract :
ABSTRACT This Final Assignment raise the theme of The Tree as Idea of Creation of Sculpture. Tree are objects that are close to everyday life for a long time because of childhood home is in the village. The twigs and branches of the tree have natural form and poetic. The texture of a tree trunk or branch has aesthetic value and uniqueness that distinguish it from other objects on this earth. Trunks, branches or leaves often grow facing the direction of the sun, to humans it looks messy, but actually the trees have certain patterns related to their physical form and life cycle. The interest in trees and the deepening of their role in human life gives encouragment to visualize into sculptural works of art. In the creation of this Final Assignment is done by imitating or copies the tree shapes in real life. The tree objects that are made in this Final Assignment are also metaphoric, where the works represented by tree objects have their own meaning in accordance with the writer's view or perspective. This Final Assignment which consists of 7 works is made using materials such as resin, silicon and stainless steel. The creation of this Final Assignment certainly considers visual elements such as lines, composition, shapes, textures, form and space to create three-dimensional artistic works.
