Abstract :
Since there is not much available information in timbre and Reimagination of timbre: nostalgic sound through music (Reimajensi Timbre: Nostalgia Bunyi Melalui Komposisi Musik) It is energy that is eternal and a very mysterious dimension for those who hear it. This paper aims to fill this knowledge gap. This research aims to find out the meaning of timbre in depth through reflection on the experience of the researcher's timbre. Life experience can act as an energy for creative ideas and artistic works that are both subjective and objective in the academic area. Using the notion of Boym, Deleuze, Freud framework, this paper explores nostalgia, the logic sensation, and fantasy. A Practice-based research approach is used in this study. The steps are data collection, pre-composition, conceptual timbre, musical composition and reflection of theory and work. The findings of the study reveal that (1) the method of creation, (2) the definition of timbre, (3) the concept of timbre (WIK timbre, Alih timbre, Anagram timbre), (4) the logic of sensation of art creation, (5) the composition of Energy of Fantasy music and several other findings as reinforcement this dissertation. This art creation research offers steps to uncover subjective experiences into objective scientific research. In addition, this research offers to process the timbre musically.
