Abstract :
Fast and Furious 6 was a film whose had great achievment in world cinematography with several actors in top hollywood level. That film served some scene which contained violence. Violence discourse could be known in several view points, thus to made those things known clearly we should be looking for the basic elements of film and some theories about violence. This research would like analyze the violence in several dimentions such as who did those violence and what kind of form that violence done. In short words, could be said that this research discussed about Media and Violence. This research was titled “Dimensions of Violence in Action Hollywood film (The Content Analysis in Fast and Furious 6 Film) and used quantitative content analysis method. The data was taken through the documentation of several scenes in film and others literature. The Sub Variable was devided into eight Dimensions, Form of Violence, Film Character as violent, Film Character as victim, Sex of violent, Sex of victims, Effect of Violence, Motive of Violence and Source of Violence. The result was some contents of violences, many violences form but physical violencehad bigest number of percent than the other form, more than 70%. Domination of men in this film seems very cleary in number, more than 60% Men were take a role active in this film.
