Abstract :
ABSTRAK Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya prestasi belajar IPA pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Perumnas Way Halim Kota Bandarlampung Tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode eksperimen terhadap prestasi belajar IPA. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 160 siswa, sedangkan sampel sebanyak 80 yang terdiri dari 40 siswa pada kelompok eksperimen dan 40 siswa pada kelompok kontrol. Penentuan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive random sampling. Variabel bebas adalah penggunaan metode eksperimen (X) sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah prestasi belajar IPA (Y). Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode Tes. Analisis data di gunakan uji korelasi product moment dan uji t. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa Ada pengaruh penggunaan metode eksperimen terhadap prestasi belajar IPA dan Ada perbedaan antara kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol terhadap prestasi belajar IPA pada siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Perumnas Way Halim Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Kata Kunci :Metode Eksperimen, Prestasi Belajar IPA.
