iii ABSTRAK Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhi Set Kesempatan Investasi Pada Perusahaan Manufaktur yang Terdaftar di BEI Oleh Wulan Indria Sari Set kesempatan investasi merupakan keputusan investasi dalam bentuk kombinasi aktiva yang dimiliki (assets in place) dan pilihan pertumbuhan pada masa yang akan datang dengan Net Present Value (NPV) positif. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perusahaan manufaktur yang saat ini kepemilikannya identik dengan penanaman modal asing. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan tahunan, perusahaan yang diambil sebagai sampel 39 perusahaan yang dilakukan secara purposive sampling, dan jumlah observasi yang dilakukan selama tahun 2011-2012 adalah 117 item observasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan software SPSS 17.0, serta uji statistik t sebagai uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa variabel kebijakan hutang, kebijakan dividend dan profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap set kesempatan investasi. Bagi investor hendaknya mempertimbangkan profitabilitas perusahaan, karena hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat profitabilitas merupakan insentif bagi peningkatan nilai pasar perusahaan, profit yang tinggi akan memberikan indikasi prospek perusahaan yang baik sehingga dapat memicu investor untuk ikut meningkatkan permintaan saham. Kata Kunci : Set kesempatan investasi, kebijakan hutang, kebijakan dividend, dan Profitabilitas. iii ABSTRACT Factors Affecting Investment Opportunities Set In Manufacturing Companies Listed Indonesia Stock Exchange By Wulan Indria Sari Investment opportunity set is an investment decision in the form of a combination ofassets in place and the choice of growth in the future with positive Net Present Value. This study focuses on manufacturing companies currently synonymous with ownership of foreign investment. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the annual report, the company is taken as a sample of 39 companies conducted by purposive sampling, and the number of observations made during 2011-2012 is 117 items observations. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis with SPSS 17.0 software, as well as a t statistical test of hypothesis testing. The research proves that the variable debt policy, dividend policy and affect the profitability of the investment opportunity set. For investors should consider the profitability of the company, because the results of this study indicate that the level of profitability is an incentive for increasing the company's market value, high profit will give a good indication of the prospects of the company so that it can trigger investors to participate boost demand for stocks.
