Abstract :
ABSTRAK Noor Rizqa Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab anak putus sekolah yang ada di Desa Bumi Rejo Kecamatan Baradatu yaitu dari segi pendapatan orang tua, jumlah anggota keluarga yg menjadi tanggungan orang tua, tingkat pendidikan orang tua, dan jarak tempat tinggal kesekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, subjek penelitiannya adalah orang tua anak putus sekolah tingkat SMP yang berjumlah 22 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, tekhnik wawancara, dan teknik kuisioner. Setelah mendapatkan data dari responden digunakan teknik analisis data yaitu tabulasi dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari 22 orang tua anak putus sekolah 86,4 % orang tua berpenghasilan rendah, 86, 4 % memiliki anak banyak, 77,3% orang berpendidikan rendah dan seluruh anak putus sekolah ini berjarak diatas 5 km untuk mencapai sekolah, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa faktor-faktor inilah yang menyebabkan anak-anak di Desa Bumi Rejo putus sekolah. Kata Kunci: Orang tua, Anak Putus Sekolah. This is income, parents, level parent education, distance of residence to school. The method used in research is descriptive method, the subject of his research are the parents of school children at rate the level junior high school, totalling 44 people, and the sample of 22 people. Data collection technique used observation techniques, interview techniques and techniques questionnaire. Techniques used tabulation and percentage. The results showed of the 22 parents of children dropping out of school are 86,4 % low income, 86,4% had many children, 77,3% the less educated and all children droputs to get to school a distance of more than 5 kilometers. The conclusion that the factors that causes the children dropouts of school in bumi rejo village. Key words : parents, children dropouts of school.
