Abstract :
The research purpose was to obtain the information about tourists' perceptions of Tirtayasa Beach Tourism Object in Way Tataan Village, East Teluk Betung District, Bandar Lampung City. The studies in this paper were attractions, facilities, security condition and promotion and information. This research used a descriptive method. The population in this research were tourists who visited Tirtayasa Beach Tourism Object. The sample determining method in this research was accidental sampling of 30 tourists. Data collection techniques were done by observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis technique used percentage analysis. The results showed that: (1) tourists' perceptions of the attractiveness of Tirtayasa Beach are not attractive compared to other attractions in Lampung Bay. (2) tourists stated that Tirtayasa Beach Tourism Object facilities are incomplete and not maintained. (3) tourists said the security situation of Tirtayasa Beach Tourism Object is not safe. (4) promotion and information of Tirtayasa Beach Tourism Object is not optimal. (5) Tirtayasa Beach Tourism Object cannot compete with other tourism objects in Lampung Bay with the current condition. Keywords: Perception, Tourist, Tirtayasa Beach Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai persepsi wisatawan terhadap Obyek Wisata Pantai Tirtayasa di Desa Way Tataan Kecamatan Teluk Betung Timur Kota Bandar Lampung. Kajian dalam tulisan ini daya tarik, fasilitas, keadaan keamanan dan promosi dan informasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Obyek Wisata Pantai Tirtayasa. Metode penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah accidental sampling sebanyak 30 wisatawan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) persepsi wisatawan mengenai daya tarik Pantai Tirtayasa tidak menarik dibandingkan dengan obyek wisata lain yang ada di Teluk Lampung. (2) wisatawan menyatakan bahwa fasilitas Obyek Wisata Pantai Tirtayasa tidak lengkap dan tidak terawat. (3) Wisatawan mengatakan keadaan keamanan Obyek Wisata Pantai Tirtayasa tidak aman. (4) promosi dan informasi Obyek Wisata Pantai Tirtayasa kurang optimal. (5) Obyek Wisata Pantai Tirtayasa kalah bersaing dengan obyek wisata Teluk Lampung dengan keadaan saat ini. kata kunci: persepsi, wisatawan, Pantai Tirtayasa
