Abstract :
Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya kemampuan Higher Order Thinking
Skills peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model
pembelajaran Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan Higher Order
Thinking Skills pada peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini
adalah quasi eksperimental dengan desain penelitian non equivalent control group
design. Instrument dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan non-tes. Populasi
dipenelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V SDN Gedung Agung Kabupaten
Lampung Selatan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V A
sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas V B sebagai kelas kontrol di SDN Gedung
Agung tahun ajaran 2018/2019, jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 54
peserta didik yang diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis
dengan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian diperoleh
simpulan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning
untuk meningkatkan Higher Order Thinking Skills pada peserta didik kelas V
SDN Gedung Agung tahun ajaran 2018/2019.

THE INFLUENCE OF THE PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MODEL TO
IMPROVE HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILLS IN FIFTH GRADE
STUDENTS OF SDN GEDUNG AGUNG.

The Problem of this research was about the lack of abilities the student?s higher
order thinking skills. The aim of this research was to know the influence of the
problem based learning model in regard of increasing the student?s higher order
thinking skills. The approach of this study was quasi experimental with non
equivalent control group design research design. Tests and non-test were used as
the instrument of eliciting the data. The population of this research were fifth
grader of SDN Gedung Agung. The sample of this research were the studens of V
A class as experiment class and the student of VB class as the controlled class in
SDN Gedung Agung 2018/2019, the number of samples used was 54 students
obtained throught the purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed by
simple linear regression. The result showed that there was influence from problem
based learning model in regard of increasing higher order thinking skills the fifth
grader of SDN Gedung Agung 2018/2019 Learning Period?s
