Abstract :
memiliki perbedaan tipe tutupan lahan. Faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya
keanekaragaman amfibi yaitu pembukaan areal kawasan hutan akibat aktivitas
manusia, ketinggian kawasan, dan tingkat adaptasi jenis amfibi. Kondisi tutupan
Amphibians are one of the constituent elements of the ecosystem which
have an important role as bio-indicators of environmental damage. This research
aims to analyze the diversity of amphibian species in several types of social
forestry land cover and analyze the presence of amphibians based on habitat type
conditions in Ulubelu District, Tanggamus Regency. The research was carried out
in five different habitat types, consisting of forests, agroforestry, monoculture,
yards and water bodies. The method used to collect amphibian data is VES
(Visual Encounter Survey). Identification is carried out using the field
disembarkation guide book. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and
quantitatively to calculate the species diversity index, species richness index,
dominance index, species evenness index and the Spearman Rank test.
The results of the research show that the diversity of amphibians in
various types of land cover in Penantian Village and Sinar Banten Village is
included in the medium and low classes, which means that the two locations have
different types of land cover. Factors that cause low diversity of amphibians are
the clearing of forest areas due to human activities, the altitude of the area, and
the level of adaptation of amphibian species. The condition of land cover which
has a high diversity of tree species influences the number of amphibians in that
land cover. Apart from being used by amphibians as a source of food and shelter,
tree species are also used by other plant and animal species related to amphibian
life, so this influences the number of individuals found.
