Abstract :
Otoshimi fish crackers can be a business opportunity to increase the value added. The use of otoshimi as raw material for fish crackers is one of the efforts that can be made to reduce dependence on mackerel fish, the source of protein for fish crackers in general. The purpose of this research is to determine whether the otoshimi fish cracker business is feasible or not. The results of the business feasibility analysis of the otoshimi fish crackers business showed in a positive Net Present Value of Rp. 484.386.726, an Internal Rate of Return of 33,97%, a B/C ratio of 1,26, and a Payback Period in 1 year and 10 months if the planned assumptions are met. Sensitivity analysis shows that a 10% increase in production cost affects the feasibility of the project. From the consideration of the investment criteria above, it shows that the otoshimi fish cracker business activity is feasible to run as long as the project runs according to the specified assumptions and technical parameters. Penggunakan otoshimi sebagai bahan baku pembuatan kerupuk ikan sebagai salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap ikan tenggiri, sumber protein kerupuk ikan pada umumnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui layak atau tidak usaha kerupuk ikan otoshimi. Perhitungan analisis kelayakan usaha terhadap usaha kerupuk ikan otoshimi diperoleh hasil Net Present Value (NPV) bernilai positif sebesar Rp. 484.386.726, Internal Rate of Return (IRR) 33,97%, B/C rasio sebesar 1,26, dan Payback Period selama 1 tahun 10 bulan apabila asumsi yang direncanakan terpenuhi. Analisis sensitivitas menunjukkan bahwa kenaikan biaya produksi 10% berpengaruh terhadap kelayakan proyek. Dari pertimbangan kriteria investasi di atas menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan usaha kerupuk ikan otoshimi layak untuk dijalankan selama proyek berjalan sesuai dengan asumsi dan parameter teknis yang ditentukan.
