PENGARUH UPAH MINIMUM PROVINSI, INDEKS PEMBANGUNAN

Abstract :
Inti dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh upah minimum provinsi, indeks pembangunan manusia, dan produk domestik regional bruto terhadap kemiskinan di 16 provinsi di Indonesia. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Metode estimasi model regresi panel yang digunakan adalah Random Effect Model. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Upah Minimum Provinsi tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemiskinan artinya Penetapan upah minimum yang tinggi tidak berarti menandakan bahwa tingkat kemakmuran akan meningkat atau taraf kemiskinan akan berkurang. Sedangkan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia dan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto berpengaruh negatif terhadap kemiskinan artinya menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial IPM dan PDRB mempunyai pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap kemiskinan. Dengan melibatkan seluruh 16 Provinsi dalam estimasi pemodelan menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial UMP tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemiskinan sedangkan untuk IPM, PDRB sendiri mempunyai pengaruh negatif yang signifikan. Kata Kunci: Upah Minimum Provinsi, Indeks Pembangunan Manusia, dan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto The essence of this research is to determine the effect of provincial minimum wages, human development index, and gross regional domestic product on poverty in 16 provinces in Indonesia. The analysis technique used is multiple linier regression analysis. The panel regression model estimation method used is the Random Effect Model. The results of the analysis show that the provincial Minimum wage does not have a significant effect on poverty, meaning that setting a high Minimum wage does not necessarily indicate that the level of prosperity will increase or the level of poverty will decrease. Meanwhile, the Human Development Index and Gross Regional Domestic Product have a negative effect on poverty, meaning that partially HDI and GRDP have a significant negative effect on poverty. By involving all 16 provinces in modeling estimates, it shows that partially the UMP does not have a significant effect on poverty, while for HDI, GRDP itself has a significant negative effect.
