Abstract :
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana respon mahasiswa terhadap LGBT dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap tindakan yang dilakukan kepada LGBT. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 97 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden telah memiliki pengetahuan tentang LGBT. Kemudian pada sikap responden terhadap LGBT cendrung bersikap baik, Selanjutnya pada tahap tindakan responden ratarata bertindak positif yaitu responden menghargai keberadaan LGBT. Korelasi antara variabel pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap tindakan kepada LGBT sebesar 0,605, dengan kata lain hubungannya cukup erat. Secara keseluruhan arah hubungan antar variabel positif. Hal ini menunjukan semakin tinggi pengetahuan dan sikap responden, maka akan cendrung tinggi (positif) tindakan responden kepada LGBT. Besar pengaruh variabel pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap tindakan sebesar 36,6%. Maka dari itu, ada pengaruh pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap tindakan yang dilakukan kepada LGBT. Kata Kunci : Respon, Mahasiswa, LGBT ABSTRACT This study have intend to describe how the response of college student and understanding the effect of awareness and behavior about how they react to LGBT. Method that used in this study is descriptive research with quantitative approach. Data collection in this study using questionnaires to 97 respondent. The result of this study shows that most respondent have enough awareness about LGBT. Then about how the respondent behavior about LGBT is mostly good. Then about how responden treact is good, that?s mean respondent acknowledge the presence of LGBT. Correlation between awareness and behavior variable to how they react about LGBT is 0.605, this mean correlation between variable is good. Overall correlation between variable is positive.This show that higher awareness and behavior of respondent, tendency higher (positive) respondent react to LGBT. Value from awareness and behavior influence to attitude is 36.6%. Then can make conclusion if awareness and behavior have influence to attitude about LGBT. Keyword : Response, College student, LGBT
