Abstract :
Methodology of this study uses the
descriptive analytic
design with a
cross sectional
approach. The sampling technique used is
purposive sampling
. The
behavior of the mother is measured by using questionnaires and the nutrition status is
measured by using KMS. The data are analyzed using Kendall Tau (?).
Result of the study :
12 mothers (33,3%) had a bad behavior in giving early
supplementation fee
ding and had a child in a low/high nutrition status and 1 mother
(2,8%) had a good behavior and had a child in a low/high nutrition status. There is a
significant relationship between the behavior of a mother in giving early
supplementation feeding and the
nutrition status of infants at age 12
-
24 months (? =
0,324; p = 0,05).
