Abstract :
Legal Writing titled effort of the police in dealing with child victims of sexual abuse in the city of yogyakarta, the formulation problem, namely the effort of the police dealing with child victims of sexual abuse in the city of yogyakarta and the constraints facing the police in dealing with child victims of sexual abuse in the city of yogyakarta, the research method is a normative legal research focusing on positive law in the form of legislation requiring secondary data as the main and primary data as supporting data, the result in the form of preventive measures and effort used repressive police in dealing with child victim of sexual abuse. The constraints facing the police found in the age of the victim, witness, afraid story, fear of the perpetrator, and parents so it is not easy to ask for information from children who are victims of abuse are.
