Abstract :
A massive annexation by Israel in 1967 affected Palestinians to struggle and to keep them survive. In 1996 the tumultuous happened in Al-Aqsa and many people died at that time. Aggression by Israel increased in 2008 in Gaza. Israel launched the rocket in Hamas region and increased more victims. The conflict triggered the temper of Palestinians. Israel blockaded all helps to Palestinians. Security Council issued the resolution to ask Israel to withdraw their actions and their troops from Palestine region. The resolution was not implemented by Israel. Based on the charter, the purpose of Security Council is to maintain peace and security. When this conflict happened, Security Council had a big influence in a peace process between Israel and Palestine. From the resolutions that have been taken out, Israel was not cooperative with Security Council. The aggression still happened in Palestine. The role of Security Council is questionable. Many conflicts happen in all around the world. Security Council has a responsibility to maintain the peace and international security. Israel keeps enforcing their aggression in Gaza, West Bank and Jerussalem. The Palestinians are still with their struggle to survive under attack by Israel. This research uses normative research that focuses on the resolutions and peace process related to the conflict between Israel and Palestine. Security Council as a one of important organ in United Nations has a big duty to maintain the peace and security, it is necessary to cooperate between all of the parties in this conflict, so that the people who were the victims can feel the peace.
