Abstract :
Indonesia is a country that by law is not based on sheer strength, then all the power of the state should be governed by the law. Therefore the police as one of law enforcement plays embody the principles of law in social life and state . Each member of the Police of the Republic of Indonesia is obliged to live and live the Police Code of Ethics should be reflected in the attitudes and behavior, to avoid misconduct and abuse of authority. Police discipline regulations contain an obligation, prohibition, sanctions, and completion of disciplinary violations committed by police officers themselves, in the enforcement of discipline police officers who are authorized to impose disciplinary action, including direct boss, the boss is not direct, and the Provos. In the event of misuse of firearms by police officers who examined not only a breach of discipline alone but the Police Professional Ethics and the crime must also be enforced. Professional ethics should be improved so as to create awareness within the police members to remain focused on police professionalism and uphold human rights.
